How to split Lotus Notes for free?
Most of the IBM users use to ask how to split large-sized Lotus Notes NSF files. First of all, i will tell you about NSF files. NSF stands for Notes Storage Facility and these files store all the database of IBM lotus notes client like emails, contacts, calendars etc. Due to storage of large amount of data these files become large-sized with the passage of time and cause sluggishness of the system. To manage these large files, it is necessary to split them into multiple smaller ones.
Now, splitting can be done in two ways. One is manual method in which we use inbuilt software provided by IBM and transfer files from one database to another for free.
Another one is to use a NSF split tool which splits these large files into multiple smaller ones safely without loss of data.
